Im so glad they’re getting rid of SNOW WHITE’S LAME ADVENTURES. That classic ride USED to be scary until they changed it and made it tamer and featured more of Snow White and less of the witch and the scares. Good riddance. The mine train ride should be more fun and interesting and hopefully, the with will appear once again and terrify us.

@MrDisneyguy wait so r the getting rid of it?

  3. MrDisneyguy says:

@radicalproductions3 I just found out on wikipedia, and noticed about that

  4. radicalproductions3 says:

@MrDisneyguy no way i saw where they were building its close to it but they cant take it down

    @jackieclark123
it is under construction right now, and it will start opening in phases starting in late 2012 and everything will be fully open in 2013

@JujBres In the World Showcase, or where the Body pavillion is/was/used to be in Future World?

  9. JujBres says:

@ztslovebird The original plans were to have Pixie Hollow built in Fantasyland, but instead the Fairies meet-n-greet will be in Epcot.

@ztslovebird The cast member shop is all of the unused, old, props used in parades/rides. My sister’s friend worked at Disneyland and bought some High School Musical microphone that was used in a parade for his neice. The prices are relatively good there, supposedly. It may be only at Disneyland, I’m not sure. But I’d imagine they’d have it at every Disney park.

@TheITinFIT I strongly agree on u. i think this is fantastic but this idea is too one-sided. i think they should add lots of rides instead of just creating princess movie’s backlot…

    ): Two Dumbo Rides?

  13. MrDisneyguy says:

    i bet that’ll remove mickey’s philhar magic

This is good to hear, they’ve needed a revamp of the WDW Fantasyland for a long time. It has always felt like a pitiful attempt to reconstruct what was in Disneyland without the heart. It’s just been a street with 10 or so ride buildings all around you. This new take on everything will provide a much more immersive experience for everyone. I just hope they take the best of their ideas and apply it to Disneyland at one point.

  15. ztslovebird says:

@vigo894 lol, thanks! I haven’t got much skill for the engineering part, but thankfully the Imagineers extend far beyond imagination engineers.

  16. ztslovebird says:

@Blu923the2nd What’s the Cast Member shop?

  17. Blu923the2nd says:

@ztslovebird I imagine they will be sold in the Cast Member shop and/or be reused in the Mine ride after being refurbished.

  18. vigo894 says:

@ztslovebird= You should be an Imagineer. Those are brilliant ideas.

  19. MrDisneyfanatic says:

The new castle is ganna look amazing!

@TheITinFIT I thought there was a rumor that Pixie Hollow would be built in the Toontown area. But even so; the princesses must have Meet-n-Greet areas in 1000 locations throughout the parks! Why not make some sort of Tunnel of Love ride or something, a ride that goes through all the greatest romance moments in Disney films? Or maybe an indoor watercoaster like in the Emperor’s New Groove (the thing Yzma and Kronk ride on to the “secret lair”)? Or reconstruct a 20000 LUTS -type ride?

  21. TheITinFIT says:

It’s amazing, all that room for about 5 or 6 different Meet’n'Greet spots and one new ride, but NO room to put back Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride? Come one Disney, I love Fantasyland but I’m old enough now to appreciate a ride that features some more obscure characters and sends you to Hell at the end! It’s all about the Princesses and Fairies, and though I love them, there’s more to fantasy than that. What about Pinocchio or Mary Poppins or other good fantasy movies that Disney’s famous for?

  22. TheITinFIT says:

@ztslovebird Yeah, I mean, most of Toontown is already being razed for ONE ride and three Meet-n-Greets (Cinderella, Aurora and Belle). Can’t we just either keep Snow White and let the other three be built or build the one area and let the rest of the Fantasyland expansion have more…substance?

  23. ztslovebird says:

So the entire building is going to be (for lack of a better term) gutted to make room for ANOTHER Meet-n-Greet area? I know the ride has been losing popularity over the years, but what’s going to happen to all the old decorations and figures?

  24. sprigelf2000 says:

He said Gaston WRONG!!! but the remodel looks cool.

  25. SmileyV07 says:

@Fiyeroni well MK fantasyland has more restaurants than Disneyland’s fantasyland so I guess WDW just kept making more restaurants than rides lol
