@sirbrickrock Humans actually don’t always “kill” animals “humanely” at all and comparing us to crocodiles, sharks and piranha is not valid when relating to the fur trade. People are against killing animals for the fur industry because it is often done in a painful, inhumane way and it is unnecessary. It’s a luxury industry that is based on cruelty. (i.e. electrocuting, clubbing, shooting, etc.)
People can be just as warm and protected from the elements in faux fur and other garments.
I think what she meant was animals should die for good reasons, like food, clothing. abusing animals means beating them up and torturing them for no pupose like dog fights (example of abuse). plus do you think other animals such as the crocadiles, sharks and pharanas and lions would stop chasing us and ripping humans to shreds? at least when we kill animals we do it humanly…. it’s just a cycle of life, the food chain…
